Talent Acquisition Coordinator - RACE21

Reporting to the Senior Advisor, Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator, RACE21™ is responsible for overseeing and executing administrative tasks for the Talent Acquisition team. This will include venue scheduling, material preparation for events, and candidate interviews.



  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Contact candidates and hiring managers to schedule interviews, book interview space, and prepare interview materials
  • Assist in the completion of special projects as assigned
  • Perform file audits to ensure all required employee documentation is collected and maintained
  • Track performance metrics and provide regular reports to share in weekly and monthly leadership updates
  • Facilitate the hiring processes involved in full-cycle recruitment
  • Source candidates, review resumes, conduct preliminary phone screenings, and coordinate with recruiters and hiring managers to shortlist candidates
  • Maintain proper documentation, filing, and tracking of candidates using an Applicant Tracking System
  • Assist in the development and execution of sourcing, screening, and vetting strategies
  • Identify opportunities to improve the candidate experience
  • Develop strong relationships with recruiters and hiring managers to effectively communicate role responsibilities, candidate profiles, and company recruitment processes
  • Organize, and participate in, internal and external hiring events and career fairs
  • Take initiative on new and exciting RACE21™ related projects such as RACE21™ specific branding development, and company onboarding
  • Assist in preparing and distributing presentations, letters, and other materials as required
  • Arrange and prepare for meetings including drafting and circulating agendas, document preparation, catering, and other logistics
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned



  • Business Administration Diploma or a combination of education and experience
  • Progressive administrative experience is an asset, preferably in a professional office environment
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise discretion, judgment, and diplomacy
  • Experience with proactive discovery calls with candidates, referrals, and implementing Internet search and research techniques
  • Proficiency across the entire Microsoft Office Suite®
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
  • Self-sufficiency, and ability to work with little direct supervision
  • Proven ability to prioritize and work under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • High-energy with an inherent ability to easily establish, and quickly build confidence and rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
