Role Overview

Reporting to the Manager of Community, Environmental, and Regulation Approvals (SERA), the SERA Coordinator supports integration, coordination, and delivery of SERA work. This work spans all project phases. This role provides support to the individual coordinating SERA and the SERA Leads by managing scopes, tasks, achievements, risks, deliverables, and resourcing. ng. It also serves as the central point for coordination and communication across the SERA function and the project team.

 

This role is responsible for maintaining transparency in SERA scope execution. It also supports SERA strategy development and provides administrative, planning, and reporting support. This includes budgets, schedules, dashboards, and routine reporting. While this role does not replace the technical accountability of SERA Leads, it plays a meaningful role in linking social, environmental, and compliance efforts. It ensures alignment with project objectives and supports informed decision-making by the SERA Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a courageous safety leader and adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate SERA activities across Regulatory, Environmental, Community Relations, and other workstreams to ensure alignment of schedules, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate meetings, track actions, maintain schedules, achievement trackers, and deliverables logs.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, dependencies, and critical path items, and support stage-gate readiness.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, briefing materials, and status updates for project and leadership teams.
  • Support development and execution of SERA strategies, plans, and decision-making materials.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, consultant management, contract administration, and financial tracking.
  • Drive continuous improvement in SERA processes, reporting, coordination, and risk management.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, sustainability, and responsible project development across project teams.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Environmental Studies, Social Sciences, Business, Project Management, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in project coordination, planning, or support roles within resource, infrastructure, environmental, regulatory, or social performance projects.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and managing complex project information.
  • Familiarity with regulatory, environmental, or community engagement processes is an asset.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize.
  • Experience with project schedules, dashboards, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Diligent, collaborative, adaptable, and able to communicate effectively with diverse collaborators.

 

Pay Range: CAD $85,000 - $105,000 per year

The actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
