Role Overview

 

Reporting to the Acting Lead, Recruitment, the Recruiter is a contract role (Approximately 12 months) responsible for supporting full-cycle recruitment across diverse domains including engineering, geoscience, finance and technology. In this integral role, you will join a collaborative team of HR professionals to actively source candidates to fill critical vacancies across our operations and improve recruitment efficiencies.

 

Drawing on your vast knowledge of full-cycle recruitment, we will harness your refined expertise in candidate experience, hiring manager engagement, collaboration, and passive candidate search strategies. Key Responsibilities

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Be a trusted advisor who can guide and partner with HR and hiring teams throughout the hiring lifecycle from selection, interviewing, compensation negotiations to closure
  • Expertly capture niche job requirements from business partners to build effective search strategies and candidate pipelines
  • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to hiring, while ensuring candidate and customer experience is maximized
  • Build and nurture productive working relationships with Hiring Managers and Human Resource Business Partners
  • Collaborate with a team of recruiters to enhance current recruitment processes and improve both candidate and client experiences
  • Maintain computer-based applicant tracking systems (ATS) and efficiently leverage recruitment technologies to uncover the best talent
  • Foster positive relationships with candidates through outreach, screening and interviews, building diverse lead pipelines for current and future openings

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Deep understanding of sourcing, headhunting, and recruitment pipeline development strategies and techniques
  • Minimum of 5 years managing the entire recruitment process; A blend of agency and corporate recruitment preferred
  • Trusted partner to hiring managers and HRBPs, with exceptional communication skills and a customer service-oriented approach
  • Proficiency with headhunting and sourcing including using Boolean and X-ray searches
  • Familiarity with recruitment management software, sourcing and screening tools, and recruitment technologies; experience with SAP SuccessFactors is beneficial
  • Experience recruiting within Mining or a similar heavy industrial sector an asset
  • Experience recruiting Technology professionals is an asset
  • Strong digital literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including MS365
  • Spanish language fluency is preferred

 

Pay Range: CAD $85,000 - $105,000 per year

The actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
