Manager Productivity Services

Location: 

Vancouver, BC, CA

Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure, the Manager Productivity Services will coordinate a team of dedicated resources ranging from 6 to 10 individuals. They value simplicity and are not afraid to challenge technical constraints and procedures to achieve agile design.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Collaborate on Design, Architecture, Tools Governance / Steering, Function Capability Mapping and Integrations within the following domains:
    • Microsoft O365
    • Teams
    • Exchange Online
    • Meeting Technology
    • Telephony
  • Collaborate with Resource Planning & Management
  • Collaborate with Financial Planning & Management
  • Allocation / Mapping / Financial Management
  • Collaborate on Application Management: Exchange, Teams, Azure VM, Azure Groups
  • Collaborate and maintain awareness and management of M365 updates
  • Meeting room architecture, design, support, maintenance of telephony and meeting room technologies
  • Liaise with Microsoft as Primary point of contact
  • Apply appropriate resources to project requests

Qualifications:

  • A Post-secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years proven experience providing direct and/or indirect leadership
  • Seen as an expert within the technical components of the domains within O365, Teams, Exchange Online, Telephony
  • Experienced leader with deep insight into the newest Microsoft technologies and trends
  • Within this role you are a recognized and practiced leader with the experience to drive our Microsoft 365 portfolio forward
  • Can make architecture decisions at a team and product level
  • Strong leadership skills - comfortable leading large cross functional technical teams, resources, and project issues in multiple locations
  • A self-starter - able to contribute while influencing the technical direction
  • Experience in conflict resolution
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Experience handling technical priorities within the backlog
  • Strong communication skills with ability align organization on complex technical decisions
  • Active coach and mentor whose goal is to grow and improve the team’s potential
  • High energy and hardworking individual who encourages teammates to reach their maximum potential
  • Passionate about trying new solutions outside standard approved
  • Embraces a culture of trust and complete transparency
  • Promotes free thought is energized by ideas from others in team
  • Brave and rebellious, willing to challenge status quo
