For this exciting position, we are specifically targeting students who have a background in Arts, Sciences, or Business Administration. If you are not currently located in the area of this co-op position, you must be willing to either commute or relocate to the surrounding area for the entire duration of the co-op term. You must also currently be a student enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution and will be enrolled throughout the duration of the co-op term (you will also be returning back to the post-secondary institution once the co-op term is completed). Proof of a valid work permit will also be required, if applicable.

Salary Range: $4000 - $5100 / Month

Salary is commensurate with the number of academic semesters and prior co-op experiences completed. 

Responsibilities

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures

  • Support team communications planning processes such as content calendars and building engagement plans

  • Coordinate and support engagement events that cultivate connection and belonging

  • Develop and share creative communications to collaborators and the business on progress and learning opportunities

  • Assist with research and implementation of innovative ideas to improve the way we engage stakeholders and deploy our strategy

  • Develop research and reports to help guide our equity, diversity and inclusion and engagement strategy

  • Build positive relationships with various teams across the business

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing an Undergraduate degree in Arts, Sciences, or Business Administration

  • Motivated self-starter; able to prioritize work under pressure and show phenomenal attention to detail while maintaining confidentiality and a high level of professionalism

  • Commitment to fostering respectful and an inclusive environments

  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate sophisticated ideas and concepts to multidisciplinary teams

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)

  • Experience with HR programs/software is an asset
