About the Role

 

As a Business Analyst in the Performance Team, you will play a critical role in Performance Management, ensuring the effective design, execution, and governance of Performance Management Structures that align with business strategy and leadership priorities. You will drive data-driven decision-making by designing, implementing, monitoring and improving performance management processes, developing performance reports, automating reporting processes, and providing strategic insights. You are a structured business thinker with a strong operational background, balancing technical expertise with a deep understanding of business processes. Your ability to analyze, model, and optimize data-driven processes supports the continuous improvement of any operations. Collaborating with the North American Business Partner, you will also coordinate business-as-usual (BAU) operations, supporting continuous improvement while mentoring Performance Coordinators and Co-op students.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Build, develop, and deploy Performance Management Structures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Plan, structure, and oversee Performance Management Routines, ensuring consistency in execution and delivery of key performance outcomes.
  • Develop and oversee performance reporting processes, ensuring data is captured, measured, and aligned with audience-specific business outcomes.
  • Lead the automation of performance reporting, collaborating with technical teams to enhance data accessibility and visualization.
  • Conduct deep-dive data analysis, identifying key insights, trends, and performance gaps to drive informed decision-making.
  • Facilitate collaboration across multiple functions, ensuring performance metrics and reporting align with business objectives and leadership expectations.
  • Manage day-to-day (BAU) operational routines, ensuring sustainability and efficiency of deployed processes.
  • Mentor and develop individuals in Performance Coordinator and Co-op student roles, encouraging a high-performing team culture.
  • Develop training materials and conduct workshops on Performance Management methodologies and reporting automation.
  • Support process standardization and governance, ensuring continuous improvement in performance routines and reporting.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in Performance Management, Business Analysis, or Business Operations.
  • Exceptional facilitation, executive communication, and participant engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
  • Outstanding skill in converting complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Solid experience in data automation and process optimization initiatives.
  • Expertise with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Proven background in coordinating Performance Management Routines, including planning, facilitating, execution, and governance.
  • Familiarity with data analytics, modeling, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python) would be an asset
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment.
