Role Overview

Teck is looking for an experienced Apprentice, Pipefitter to join our team at our Trail Operations, reporting to the Group Leader

Key Responsibilities

Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
Repair and maintain a wide variety of complex piping systems that are integral to the operation’s activities
Perform preventative maintenance and fabrication work
Able to work independently or as part of a team

Qualifications

Completion of Grade 12 and currently indentured as a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice pipefitter
Journeyperson Plumber with transferable hours will also be considered
WHMIS certification is an asset
Related industrial maintenance experience
Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems considered an asset

Pay Range: $36.56-$46.03 /hr

The actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
