The SAP Integration Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and managing integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems using the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role plays a critical part in Teck’s ERP transformation journey, ensuring seamless data flow, process orchestration, and alignment with SAP RISE architecture.
Reporting to the Lead, ERP Integration, the specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement scalable, secure, and high-performing integration solutions that support business processes and digital transformation goals.
This is an initial one-year contract.

Responsibilities
•Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures.
•Design and implement integration solutions using SAP BTP services such as Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, Event Mesh, and Open Connectors.
•Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical designs.
•Develop and manage interfaces between SAP S/4HANA (RISE) and third-party systems.
•Ensure integration solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, and performance standards.
•Support data migration, transformation, and orchestration activities.
•Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.
•Document integration architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
•Participate in solution design workshops and contribute to integration strategy and planning.
•Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- •Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•8–10 years of experience in SAP integration, with at least 3+ years in SAP BTP.
•Hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh).
•Experience with SAP RISE and S/4HANA greenfield implementations.
•Proficiency in authentication protocols (OAuth2, SAML) and security best practices.
•Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for integration development.
•Experience in hybrid integration scenarios (cloud-to-cloud, cloud-to-on-premise).
•Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
•SAP BTP or Integration Suite certifications.
•Experience with SAP Process Orchestration (PO/PI).
•Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
•Knowledge of data governance and integration monitoring tools.
•Experience in mining, natural resources, or heavy industry sectors.
