Reporting to the Port Operations Supervisor, the Temporary Sample Shack Attendant is responsible for pre-moisture, moisture sampling during concentrate load out operations, communication with the whole operation of moisture content and tonnes loaded, and prepares composite samples for each barge, and other duties as assigned.

2025 Shipping Season; Rotation Schedule will be 2 weeks on-site with 1 week off-site

Responsibilities:

• Pre-moisture, moisture sampling during concentrate load out operations
• Communication with the whole operation of moisture content and tonnes loaded
• Prepares composite samples for each barge
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 18 years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent
• A team player and able to communicate well with others
• Highly motivated and have ability to perform tasks with limited direction
• Adhere to high safety standards
• Work day, afternoon, or night shifts as required
• Work outdoors with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions
• Perform labor intensive work when required; physically capable of performing the essential functions of the trade
• Current driver’s license is preferred
