Maintenance Process Coach

Teck Alaska Incorporated, Red Dog Operations, one of the world's largest producers of zinc concentrate, is recruiting for a Maintenance Process Coach

 

Rotation schedule will be 2 weeks on-site with 2 weeks off-site

Responsibilities:

•    Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
•    Promote operating discipline and design intent related to the processes you will support
•    Review key performance indicator performance to identify operating discipline related issues, and initiate coaching to close the gap and/or initiate further detailed analysis
•    Provide feedback to on functional capability gaps in maintenance performance identified through coaching
•    Collaborate with other specialists to promote functional and cross functional integration
•    Reviews process and data related gaps and recommends improvements to line leaders
•    Support Maintenance and Asset Management teams in the implementation of improvement initiatives 
•    Provides functional specialist knowledge, data validation and cleansing, stakeholder engagement and communication for process changes
•    Support local testing and deployment for Work Management activities in CMMS Change Cycles
•    Performs other related duties as assigned
 

Qualifications:

•    Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent combination of higher educational qualifications and experience.
•    Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Work Management, Reliability or Business Improvement preferably in a mining environment or similar heavy industrial facilities;
•    Strong communication, and facilitation skills is a must-have to drive effective change     programs and influence stakeholders from all levels of our business;
•    Excellent working knowledge of CMMS, Power BI, SAP and or other business improvement data tools. 
•    Logical and structured approach in analyzing processes and metrics to identify improvement opportunities;
•    Ability to communicate at all levels in the operation;
•    Action oriented in resolving issues;
•    Self-motivated in setting priorities for self, and to support the business;
•    Be collaborative across teams to achieve common objectives;
•    Experience in Work / Process Management in a Maintenance / Production environment;
•    Experience in facilitating change in an operating environment.
