Role Overview
Teck is looking for an experienced Journeyperson Steamfitter-Pipefitter to join our team at our Trail Operations. Reporting to the Group Leader, the Journeyperson Steamfitter-Pipefitter is responsible for the below.
Please note this role does require the successful candidate to live within 100KM of Trail, British Columbia. Relocation assistance will be offered however there is no camp or company housing.
Key Responsibilities
- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and fabrication of a wide variety of complex piping systems
Qualifications
- Inter-Provincial Red Seal Endorsement (Steamfitter-Pipefitter)
- Valid B ticket gas certification
- Industrial maintenance experience is considered an asset
- Valid A ticket gas certification is considered an asset
- Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems is considered an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required
- Valid driver’s license
