Senior Sourcing Recruiter (Corporate)

Following the last two (2) years of agile digital business transformation across our business, we are so pleased to launch several exciting new opportunities within our Global Recruiting Team. These pivotal resources are leaders in the initial procurement of candidates - forging evolving and dynamic relationships with them, along with HR Business Partners (HRBP's) and Hiring Managers. Supporting multiple client groups across the globe, we will lead the proactive candidate sourcing activities targeted at passive top talent.

 

Drawing on your vast knowledge of full-cycle recruitment, we will harness your refined expertise in crafting outstanding multi-channel communications, passive candidate search strategies, continually building out recruitment efficiencies. Together, we will optimize candidate prospecting and lead generation techniques to attract bar-raising technical and multi-disciplinary talent to soothe the soul of job demands across the organization.

 

This position may be based out of any Teck location in Canada

 

Responsibilities:

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Expertly capturing niche job requirements from business partners to build effective and sophisticated Boolean or X-Ray searches
  • Cultivating passive candidate prospects and assessing them for position level, team and fit, and motivations & interests through discovery calls, phone screenings, and interviews
  • Building out talent networks and using your specialist recruitment knowledge and industry resources to prepare and feed evergreen and non-evergreen candidate pipelines
  • Collaborating in the discovery, vetting, and evaluation of best-in-breed sourcing and prospecting tools, including optimizing candidate relationship management (CRM) workflows to ensure they are efficiently advancing recruitment efforts
  • Owning the end-to-end full-cycle technical and non-technical recruitment of contract and permanent resources, using some of the industry's most groundbreaking tools and technology stack known to recruiter-kind
  • Ushering candidates through the hiring process, maintaining communication and timely feedback to provide a positive candidate experience
  • Remaining current on external talent pools, talent personas, salary levels, hourly rates, market, geographical, and other trends within specialized roles
  • Displaying the hallmark behaviours of a hardworking and trusted employer brand representative - a go-to for the team that believes in a mantra of just-in-time clarity, honesty, and integrity

 

Qualifications:

  • Application and endorsement of Diversity and Inclusion initiatives to promote a stronger workforce as foundation of a comprehensive recruitment practice
  • Deep understanding of sourcing, headhunting, and recruitment pipeline development strategies and techniques
  • Familiarity with sophisticated sourcing platforms and providers that incorporate machine learning and artificial intelligence into their product design and workflow
  • Experience as a corporate or agency account manager combined technical sourcer and recruiter, gifted in coping with ambitious requirements across business units
  • Experience working in an agile recruiting environment or hyper-growth software start-up, balancing contending priorities in a high-touch environment
  • Proficiency with an industry-leading corporate and agency Applicant Tracking, CRM, and TRM systems like Adapt, Bullhorn, HireDesk, Greenhouse, Jobvite, Lever, Salesforce, SuccessFactors, Taleo, or Workday
  • Ability to bring order from uncertainty, proficient in looking after vast amounts of ambiguity and constant change
  • Vendor or employment agency liaising experience, combined with the ability to mitigate, quickly advance, and resolve double-representations and non-solicitation challenges arising from candidate submissions
