Role Overview

Reporting to the Business Improvement, Lead, the AI Solutions Analyst is responsible for designing and deploying AI-driven solutions that enhance operational performance and support continuous improvement initiatives. This role plays a critical part in advancing business improvement capabilities by applying modern AI and analytics tools to real-world operational challenges. 

 

This role combines expertise in AI, automation, and process optimization to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, reliability, and decision-making. The AI Solutions Analyst identifies high-impact opportunities, builds scalable solutions (including LLM-powered automations), and partners across the business to embed data-driven practices into daily operations. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures

 

AI & Automation Development 

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and LLM-based automations to optimize operational processes 
  • Build intelligent workflows integrating AI into daily business operations (e.g., copilots, decision support tools, process automation) 

 

Solution Delivery & Optimization 

  • Own end-to-end solution lifecycle: problem framing, design, development, deployment, and monitoring
  • Monitor model performance and continuously improve solutions to ensure sustained business value 

 

Stakeholder Collaboration 

  • Partner with operations, engineering, and business teams to ensure successful adoption
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders 

 

Capability Building 

  • Coach teams on AI tools, automation opportunities, and data-driven decision making
  • Promote best practices in AI, analytics, and continuous improvement 

 

Documentation & Governance 

  • Document technical solutions, assumptions, and outcomes
  • Ensure responsible and effective use of AI technologies
  • Other Duties as required 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience
  • Experience in AI/ML, analytics, or process optimization roles
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Experience with, LLM tools and frameworks (e.g., APIs, prompt engineering, Copilot Studio or similar), Data processing and integration and Machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Experience deploying solutions into production cloud-based environments is an asset
  • Strong ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions
  • Experience working with industrial, operational, or time-series data preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear, business-focused manner
  • Self-starter with strong ownership mindset
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Pay Range: CAD $76,000 - $94,000 per year

The actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
