- Support steady-state governance and operational oversight related to Microsoft 365 Copilot, including policy alignment, usage oversight, risk monitoring, readiness reviews, and collaborator mentorship
- Work with Security, Privacy, Legal, Risk, and business teams to monitor Copilot-related data exposure risks and coordinate appropriate review or remediation activities
- Support reviews in Microsoft Purview, addressing confidential data exposure, over-disclosure risks, AI activity insights, risky interactions, unlabeled sensitive content, and policy gaps
- Review and recommend improvements to sensitivity labels, DLP policies, retention, audit, Insider Risk Management, and Communication Compliance processes where relevant to Copilot and enterprise AI use
- Analyze Copilot and AI-related activity signals with the appropriate Teck teams and help translate findings into practical risk, governance, and operational recommendations
- Support readiness reviews before rapidly growing Copilot, enabling new agents, introducing Copilot Studio solutions, integrating further data sources, or deploying additional AI capabilities
- Help ensure information protection, access management, governance, and monitoring controls remain aligned to how Copilot is used, data sensitivity, business value, and enterprise risk posture
- Support remediation planning where Purview, DSPM for AI, audit reviews, partner concerns, or operational monitoring identify oversharing, inappropriate access, risky AI use, or control weaknesses
- Maintain governance records, decision logs, action plans, operating procedures, and evidence of control review activities for Microsoft 365 Copilot and associated AI functionalities
- Collaborate with the Power M365, Data and Analytics, Security, Privacy, Legal, Risk, Data Governance, Service Desk, and business team members to align Copilot governance with operational support and issue resolution pathways
- Contribute to reporting and metrics that provide access to Copilot usage, readiness, information risk, policy compliance, remediation progress, and the advancement of AI governance frameworks
- Support the development and ongoing improvement of user mentorship, FAQs, policy interpretation, enablement materials, and operational communications related to responsible Copilot use
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal delivery teams supporting Copilot oversight, Microsoft Purview management, or AI readiness activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business, Law, Risk Management, Cybersecurity, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience always considered.
- Proven ability in information governance, data protection, security, compliance, digital workplace operations, technology governance, or enterprise AI governance

- Understanding of data classification, access control, oversharing risk, sensitive information management, least privilege, and AI-related data exposure
- Ability to review Purview, DSPM, audit, or operational insights and help coordinate practical remediation with technical, governance, and organizational groups
- Experience documenting governance processes, operating procedures, risk review outcomes, control activities, or partner decisions
- Strong collaborator engagement and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical, security, and governance concepts into practical business guidance
- Ability to work independently with mentorship in a matrixed, multi-functional environment with competing priorities and evolving technology requirements
