Talent Management Assistant Co-op

Are you passionate about Talent Management and ready to bring a unique perspective to the field? We are seeking a motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and excellent interpersonal skills to join our team. The successful candidate must possess outstanding problem-solving abilities and a passion for developing talent within our organization. For this position, we welcome students pursuing degrees in Human Resources, Business, Management Information Systems, or related fields. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting performance management, succession planning, HR reporting, and more. Depending on the needs and location of the team, you will need to work PDT or MDT or relocate to a specific office (site-based). You are currently a student enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution and will be enrolled throughout the duration of the co-op term. You will also be returning back to the post-secondary institution once the co-op term is completed. Proof of a valid work permit will also be required, if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures

  • Provide support for performance management and succession planning programs, offering technical assistance in the HRIS system, SuccessFactors

  • Answer system and process related questions from a diverse audience

  • Closely partner with HRIS to support reporting capabilities, test system improvements, and troubleshoot issues 

  • Help develop visual and written communication materials for performance management and succession planning programs 

  • Help to track and develop metrics for measuring effectiveness of Talent Management programs

  • Maintain and organize electronic filing system archival of all talent materials  

  • Provide additional Talent Management Project support on key 2024 initiatives

 

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, Management Information Systems, or a related field 

  • Excellent computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook  

  • Self-motivated individual with outstanding interpersonal skills 

  • Highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities with acute attention to detail 

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills to collaborate with internal and external collaborators using a ‘customer centric’ approach 

  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with tact, diplomacy, and discretion  

  • Outstanding judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities  

  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite is considered an asset 

  • Proficiency in SAP SuccessFactors is considered an asset 

  • Proficiency in Spanish is considered an asset 

 

Wage Range: $3900 - $5000 / Month

Salary is commensurate with the number of academic semesters and prior co-op experiences completed.
