Reporting to the Lead, Talent Management, the HR Advisor, Talent Management (TM) is responsible for maintaining and supporting Succession, Performance, and Continuous Performance/Feedback modules in People Central for the successful delivery of annual programs, continuous improvement of processes, and system enhancements to meet business needs and team strategy. Additionally, the role involves coordinating all HR/Talent Management reporting, including Canada’s Top 100 application, HR Report, and Succession Board Reporting to ensure comprehensive insight and alignment with organizational goals. Responsibilities:
- ↵Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Provide reporting, analysis and interpretation of metrics related to Talent Management practices to ensure data accuracy and effective communication of impact. Including Performance & Succession data contributions to the Sustainability reporting, semi-annual HR Report and board level Succession reporting
- Work with HRIS and EDI team to analyze data and prepare reports for Talent Management as required
- Ensure system health, security and integrity in support of users. This includes supporting security roles and permissions based on business rules. Auditing to ensure “correct/right” users are assigned access to HR tools
- Engage with users to train, support, troubleshoot and advance system issues to ensure business requirements are met
- Perform routine maintenance processes to manage system accuracy, functionality and management of exceptions
- Review and enhance existing help documentation for Performance & Succession processes, encompassing both system support and underlying frameworks and guidance
- Bridge the gap between technology and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements
- Provide support and consultation in planning, requirements gathering/process mapping, documentation, testing, rollout and post-implementation support of processes and People Central implementation projects
- Communicate business requirements to HRIS; ensuring appropriate timelines and system limitations are identified and communicated to the business
- Manage process and design workshops to identify requirements, gap analysis and map out solutions
- Develop project action plans, communication, and support organisational change strategies
- Create resource materials and conduct training to support user adoption
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Advisors to allow for integration of TM into broader HR Frameworks and priorities
- Engage across site teams to facilitate impactful succession planning and performance workshops, providing mentorship and support as needed
- Serve as the main contact for co-op students in talent management, ensuring clear communication of project priorities and goals
- Work with more senior team members to ensure co-op performance aligns with organizational expectations and provide input into feedback and evaluations
Qualifications:
- Three to five years of work experience in Human Resources with experience in reporting, analytics, and ERP systems, preferably in a large, complex organization with exposure to TM practices
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Human Resources or related field of study; or equivalent experience
- Capacity to work effectively with both business and technical partners with a focus on customer service and continuous improvement
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and relationship management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Diligent and demonstrable ability to work accurately with varying types of information
- Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to exercise tact, diplomacy, and discretion with highly sensitive information
- Familiarity with various software applications commonly used in the field, such as Excel, Word, and other MS Suite Tools. Previous experience with SAP SuccessFactors an asset

Salary Range: $73000 - $90000
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
