Reporting to the Warehouse General Supervisor, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the coordination and execution of day-to-day activities, ensuring a safe work environment, and ensuring a high level of service. The position follows a 4x4 schedule rotation of day and night shifts.
To be successful, we require someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who can build relationships in a team and with people of varying backgrounds. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, adaptable, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Outstanding analytical, decision-making, problem solving, and risk analysis abilities are vital.

Responsibilities:
- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Lead daily Warehouse operations by ensuring job expectations are clearly articulated and personnel are held accountable, coordinating work assignments, conducting training and proficiency development, mentoring and empowering staff throughout all Warehouse functions
- Maintain inventory by ensuring accurate storage, reasonable security measures, and accuracy through conducting scheduled physical counts, and reconciling variances
- Maintain buildings, equipment, and tools to safe working standards including training requirements and scheduled preventive maintenance
- Monitor and evaluate transactional data, service levels, and work assignments to substantiate appropriate resources
- Work closely with the Warehouse General Supervisor and colleagues on continuous improvement of safety, environment, and work-related processes, standardization, and optimization opportunities
- Develop annual budgets, projects, forecasts, and five-year plan including monitoring expenditures, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years warehouse experience in an industrial setting; Supply Management experience would be considered an asset
- Experience Supervising or leading in a union environment
- Strong digital literacy, specifically in the Microsoft Suite® and Material Management programs
