Program Coordinator (Temporary 4-Months)

Initially reporting to Vice President Maintenance, the Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Teck Maintenance Team by ensuring coordination and engagement within the team, site stakeholders and other groups within the Maintenance portfolio. This position ensures coordination of maintenance and communication programs at Corporate, Business Unit, and Site and Teck Maintenance level. This is a temporary 4-month position, with potential opportunity for extension in the future.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hardworking professional to join a new corporate Maintenance department, with a focus on quality and delivery. You will be supporting Senior level management and have the chance to work with professionals across and at all levels of the organization. Given the size and the scope of the Maintenance transformation, the initiatives you will be working on are varied and span across various operating sites, people, processes, and technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Work closely with Teck Maintenance Managers on established program and ongoing initiative tasks
  • Maintain a consistent administrative management approach across all programs
  • Create and maintain Teck Maintenance SharePoint sites and ensure strong document control practices across the department
  • Work with managers on the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMC) and other computer applications to support Teck Maintenance and Site partnership initiatives
  • Assist in the preparation of internal and external presentations and reports
  • Provide budget tracking and management support for all Teck Maintenance programs

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Administration, Business, or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • Minimum five years of experience working in face-paced environment with multiple programs and initiatives
  • Excellent digital literacy, particularly in the Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point, as well as experience with SharePoint
  • Experience in document, information, and project management
  • Experience working in Maintenance is an asset
