The Senior QA Analyst will handle improving and scaling automated testing on the MARS Base Metals Data Product for our Base Metals Business Unit. They will join us to support an existing team and QA Lead. Testing will be focused on assurance that data products meet business requirements and are "decision ready". This role will take direction from the QA Lead and work closely with the MARs BM Technical Product Owner.

Responsibilities:

• Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures.
• Crafting test cases and performing in-sprint testing to ensure the quality of software releases.
• Automated Testing Frameworks: Craft and construct multiple automated testing frameworks using a variety of tools and programming languages.
• Front & Back-End Testing: Perform comprehensive testing of both front-and back-end components within the Azure Business Intelligence stack, ensuring data integrity and functionality.
• Conducting functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to identify and report defects, ensuring timely bug resolution.
• Performing root cause analysis to identify and address the underlying causes of defects and quality issues.
• Designing and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.
• Collaborating with DevOps teams to integrate testing activities into the CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous testing and deployment.
• Collaborating closely with team members and proactively communicating any blockers the project faces.
• Enterprise QA: Potential to apply your experience with scaling testing and automated testing across multiple products and domains to drive quality assurance efforts across the organization.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data product quality assurance, with a focus on automated testing.
• Extensive experience with front-end and back-end testing across Azure BI stack.
• Excellent SQL and data analysis skills.
• Strong expertise in test planning, test case design, and test execution across various testing levels (functional, regression, performance, etc.).
• Proficiency in test automation using industry-standard tools.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python and SQL.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work efficiently within multi-functional teams.
