Reporting to the RACE21™ Manager of Value Delivery, Asset Maintenance, the Specialist, Deployment of Technology, Asset Maintenance is responsible for coordinating the development of solutions such as software, analytics, machine-learning algorithms, automation, robotics and IIOT. This role will then deploy these solutions to deliver a step change in our performance, helping us to remain competitive in a rapidly changing landscape.
To be successful in this role we are looking for someone with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Someone who is a motivated self-starter, organized, and able to prioritize contending demands in a dynamic environment. You must also have the ability to perform deep customer research combined with your knowledge of asset maintenance to coordinate the development and deployment of game-changing technologies.  


This is an exciting and dynamic role acting as the interface between RACE21™ digital teams and our operational end users. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies being used in this industry for the first time. 



  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Coordinate product owners, designers, developers, and data scientists to engage operational front line users to craft product features
  • Define and drive implementation plans, and measure progress against key landmarks and targets with site teams
  • Cultivate collaboration between operations and digital product teams to define how success will be measured, and track performance of the solution 
  • Coordinate a comprehensive approach to deployment, identify changes, and lead implementation to ensure adoption of solutions



  • Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Applied Sciences (Engineering), or equivalent 
  • Previous experience with asset-maintenance processes and technologies to improve one of the core challenges: the right part, in the right place, with the right craftsperson, at the right time
  • Experience working on operational continuous improvement teams
