Lead, Talent Acquisition Technology

Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Lead, Talent Acquisition Technology is a critical member of the global Talent Acquisition Team responsible for strategic planning, development, implementation, and sustainment of enterprise digital recruitment tools, continual innovation and end user support. This individual will work directly with all Talent Acquisition partners including the Global Recruitment, Human Resources, Hiring Managers, Leadership, Communications, Legal, and external consultants and partners.

This position may be based out of any Teck location with consideration given to working remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Develop and execute the strategic Talent Acquisition Technology Plan and road map to support and facilitate the hiring objectives of the business
  • Manage, lead, direct, support, and coach a small dedicated team
  • Business owner and authority, responsible for the overall system sustainability and performance of the Recruitment Marketing (RMK) and Recruitment Management (RCM – enterprise applicant tracking system) SAP SuccessFactors modules
  • Senior business partner collaborating with the Global Talent Acquisition team, HRIS and external technical consultants to service 100+ system power users and all internal stakeholders across the organization
  • Implementation lead during the Human Resources SAP Transformation project responsible for strategic decision making, design, configuration and organizational change for the RMK / RCM modules
  • Optimize RMK / RCM through business analysis and translation of business requirements into streamlined digital and automated hiring approval, recruitment, and offer processes
  • Ensure strategic integration of RMK / RCM process and data with core Human Resources functions such as SAP Employee Central and Onboarding
  • Evaluate and implement new external recruitment technologies that align and integrate with the existing platform and overall recruitment technology plan 
  • Responsible for system sustainability including security, updates, newly released functionality, enhancement requests and defect resolution to support day to day business operations
  • Develop standard training programs and materials to ensure effective end user utilization 
  • Supervise and govern system usage to promote compliance and best practice
  • Demonstrate new system capabilities through the design and implementation of reports and dashboards to provide critical data driven decision making
  • Evaluate the Teck enterprise Talent Acquisition technology portfolio and related end user proficiency levels to recommend a balanced training strategy 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Preferred 10 years combined work experience in senior recruitment, recruitment technology, recruitment marketing, system implementations, or technical project management roles
  • Ability to apply strategic solutions to functional design, configuration, streamline processes and problem solve within a global framework
  • Experience in leadership or supervisory roles leading and developing teams
  • Outstanding service delivery abilities to successfully partner with a wide variety of internal and external partner groups
  • In depth understanding of the recruitment life-cycle and related business processes
  • Working experience implementing or sustaining SAP SuccessFactors RMK/ RCM modules, Lever ATS, or similar enterprise applicant tracking systems 
  • Strong planning, prioritizing and organizing skills within a complex environment
  • Training experience using different technologies and methodologies for delivery
  • Ability to get results individually and execute as a part of a cohesive working group in a variety of fast pace and exciting work environments
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite®
