Delivering Projects at Teck

Teck’s Project Development Group (PDG) provides leadership, guidance, expertise, and support to deliver projects at Teck. We partner with other business units to deliver Teck's major projects, carrying a project portfolio of studies, water program projects, capital infrastructure, and large development projects.

PDG’s project delivery functions include Project Management, Health and Safety Leadership, Engineering Management, Contracts and Procurement, Project Controls, Project Administration, Construction Management, Quality Management, Information and Document Management, and SERA (Social Environmental Regulatory Approvals) Management. If you thrive in fast-paced, dynamic work environments, this could be a great place for you to apply your skills and gain some hands-on project experience.


Role: Information and Knowledge Management Co-op student

This co-op role spans across the Information and Document Management (IDM) and Knowledge Management functions within PDG, and provides the opportunity to learn key IDM practices as well as participate in digital improvement initiatives to help our group work better and smarter.

What we are looking for in a Co-op Student

  • Working towards an Undergraduate degree in Archival Studies, Library and Information Studies, Knowledge or Information Management, or related fields
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to present information and assist with project planning, while communicating clearly to all levels of the organization
  • Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented, and organized with a high degree of accuracy
  • A self-starter with a willingness to learn, you can work independently or as part of a team.
