Requirements: 

 

  • Working towards an Undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing, Human Resources, or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to present information and assist with project planning, while communicating clearly to all levels of the organization 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Interest in digital marketing, search engine optimization, and applying data analytics to digital marketing campaigns 
  • Ability to multitask and push multiple projects to completion simultaneously

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Participation in the health and safety programs of Teck to ensure that everyone on site goes home safe and healthy every day 
  • Lead the Teck Student Experience Committee – dedicated to planning and executing exciting student activities and events across the organization
  • Manage Teck’s Student Subsidy Program, a key cost reduction program
  • Build relationships and communicate effectively with external organizations and internal business partners 
  • Participate in/lead a diverse number of projects that aim to strengthen Teck’s talent attraction, recruitment, and retention strategies
  • Actively contribute ideas and input to ensure that Teck’s campus programs are innovative, impactful, and relevant
  • Track progress and report on results

 

Based upon student’s interest and availability, this role could also include recruitment responsibilities, projects in collaboration with our talent team in Chile, exposure to other HR areas (such as onboarding, learning and development, etc.), among others.
