Shutdown Maintenance Planner, Processing

Sparwood, BC, CA

Reporting to the Planning Supervisor, Processing, the Shutdown Maintenance Planner, Processing is responsible for the planning and coordination of multiple concurrent routine and non-routine plant maintenance shutdowns to ensure the safe execution of maintenance activities in a timely manner and within scope and budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Oversee maintenance shutdown cycle which includes documentation, planning, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Coordinate shutdown review processes to identify lessons learned, and report Key Performance Indicators to drive continuous improvement
  • Assist with monthly cost forecasting, annual budgeting, and cost analysis

 

Qualifications:

  • Journeyperson’s ticket, degree, or diploma in a related subject area, or a combination of relevant education and experience
  • Experience in a planning role in mining or related heavy-duty industry
  • Exceptional digital literacy, specifically in Microsoft Office Suite®
