Surface Crew - Mobile Crane Operator x 2

Reporting to the Surface Supervisor, the Surface Crew - Mobile Crane Operator x 2 operates all cranes and heavy equipment for the mine department following all safety regulations and procedures outlined by the company.
Rotation schedule will be an even rotation

Responsibilities:

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures     
  • Consistently use the required personal protective equipment in order to promote a safe work environment
  • Operate heavy equipment which includes, but not limited to:
    • Friction cranes, Hydraulic cranes, Forklifts, Tractor/Trailer, Grader, Dozer, Snow Blower, Bus, Trash Truck & Medium Sized Vehicles
  • Perform clean-up
  • Load and unload small aircraft
  • Transportation of people and supplies
  • Road, Airport and Yard maintenance
  • Barge loading and unloading
  • Garbage disposal
  • Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience operating friction cranes 
  • Must have current crane certifications
  • A valid driver license
  • The ability to obtain a Commercial Driver License within 60 days of employment
  • Previous equipment experience is a must
  • Must have a positive and safe work history
