Successful candidates must be motivated self-starters, able to work under minimal supervision and be able to manage several projects simultaneously. The positions also require strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.  A strong working knowledge of MS Word and Excel is necessary, and a working knowledge of PowerPoint, would be advantageous.

  • The successful candidate will be a team member within the Logistics group and will provide assistance with the daily operations and activities.  
  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Provide assistance with team members when evaluating Logistics capabilities including capacity and growth needs
  • Actively support the development of effective logistics to maximize the competitiveness of the Company
  • Preparation of various reports including meeting notes, initial vessel specific projections, variance, port performance, moisture addition, blend splits and final lab analysis.
  • Prepare load plans, moisture addition instructions for Terminals, train-dumping instruction for Terminals, data entry, special projects observation, straggler train reconciliation and ISO/customer inquiries.
  • Compile estimation of stockpile residual tonnes.
  • Participate in data collection and assessment for port and rail service analysis


  • Knowledge and interest of project management and capable of participating in multiple projects simultaneously
  • Advanced analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities
  • Ability to operate independently and/or as part of a team as required to achieve optimal results
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Suite applications such as Excel and PowerPoint
